On Saturday, November 29 at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM naturalist Marcia Wilson
will present her very popular Eyes on Owls live animal program at the Cape
Cod Museum of Natural History, Route 6A, Brewster. This year "Who's Watching
You? Owls of the World" features a hooting lesson and an introduction to six
live owls. Members: $8/adult, $4/child. Non-members: $10/adult, $5/child. No
age minimum.
Reservations are required and must be purchased in advance with confirmation
by the museum office staff (Tel: 508-896-3867) Tuesday-Sunday 12 Noon-4 PM.

A great hit with museum visitors of all ages, Eyes on Owls features several
varieties of live owls as well as color slides by Marcia's husband, wildlife
photographer Mark Wilson. Marcia has over thirty years experience in
biology, field ornithology, and environmental education, and is licensed by
the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to keep owls. Her live owls were rescued
after being injured and have permanent limitations that prevent them from
surviving in the wild.

Most of us have heard or perhaps had a glimpse of an owl, but how many of us
have met this magnificent live raptor up close and personal? Children from
the audience will be invited to participate in hooting lessons one-on-one
with an owl! We'll learn how owls are able to fly silently, why they rank as
supreme hunters, which ones eat skunks, and how people can protect owl
habitats.

Eyes on Owls is a special once-a-year program not to be missed.
Call for your seat early as reservations fill quickly.
