Botanical Walk June 7

Coy's Brook Woodlands

          A Botanical Walk will be held Saturday, June 7, 9:30 am at Coy's
Brook Woodlands in West Harwich. This free walk is led by Rich Eldred and
sponsored by the Harwich Conservation Trust. Eldred, who has a degree in
Botany from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters in Plant Science
from the University of Western Ontario, is an environmental journalist for
The Cape Codder. Walkers will look for flora in a variety of wetland and
upland habitats. 

 

Directions:Rt. 6, Take Exit 10 south on Rt. 124. At First Congregational
Church, turn right. Follow Great Western Rd. to Lothrop Ave. Turn left on
Lothrop. Parking lot is on the right just south of the water tower. Info:
