On Tuesday, April 22 at 2:00 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural 
History will present a book discussion on In Defense of Nature by John Hay.
Sue Marcus, a former librarian and bibliophile, will facilitate this 
discussion as a prelude to the Museum's upcoming exhibit, "A Sense of 
Place", featuring Henry Beston, John Hay and Bob Finch.
Years before global warming and sustainability were household words, 
John Hay wrote about our connecting with Mother Nature, preserving 
species and keeping our place in the natural world.
  In Defense of Nature is available at the Museum Gift Shop, the 
Library, and through the CLAMS system. Read it if you can, but join 
us regardless.
