and the Island Foundation 
announce a Request for Proposals for their  collaborative 
Massachusetts Fishing Communities  Initiative

To help current and former fishing families in  Massachusetts 
achieve sustainable self-sufficiency 
during this period of transition in their  industry 

Proposals are due on or before August 25, 2008 
for review by the Trustees in October 2008
