Dragonfly Walk at Bank Street Bogs.

 Saturday, July 26, 10 am

 

            Join odonate specialist and Harwich resident, Blair Nikula,
search for dragonflies and other flying creatures

            Nikula, a life-long birder, has been studying and photographing
dragonflies and damselflies for about 15 years. He is an editor of Ode News,
a newsletter about the odonates of southern New England, and maintains a
related web site (www.odenews.net). He is also a co-author of the Stokes'
Beginner's Guide to Dragonflies and Damselflies as well as A Field Guide to
the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Massachusetts. He currently serves as an
associate member of the Massachusetts Natural Heritage & Endangered Species
Program Advisory Committee.

            The walk is FREE and sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust,

            Directions: From Route 6, take Exit 10 (Rt 124) south to Route
39. Turn left on 39. Bank Street is the first street on the right. Park in
the Harbormaster's Workshop, on the left at 203 Bank Street.
