This year's Field Guide Training Course will consist of eight sessions from
9am to 2 pm, starting on Thursday, March 20 and ending on Thursday, May 8.
Field guides are prepared to take out school groups in the spring and fall,
and lead tourists during the summer.
 
The morning sessions will concentrate on information about the natural world
and techniques for being a successful field guide. There will be special
speakers, activities or field walks in the afternoons. It is an opportunity
to share your love of nature and continue the learning that never ends.
