Spring Wildflowers Botanical Walk May 3

          A Botanical Walk will be held Saturday, May 3, 3 pm, at Bank
Street Bogs in Harwich. This free walk is led by Rich Eldred and sponsored
by the Harwich Conservation Trust. Eldred, who has a degree in Botany from
the University of New Hampshire and a Masters in Plant Science from the
University of Western Ontario, is an environmental journalist for The Cape
Codder. Walkers will look for spring wildflowers in a variety of
successional bog habitats. 

 

Directions:Rt. 6, Take Exit 10 south on Rt. 124. At First Congregational
Church, turn left on Rt. 39. From Harwich Center, turn right on Bank Street.
Park on the left at the Harbormaster's Workshop, 203 Bank Street. Info:
