Join us for the second annual "Hot Wings - Jazz for Plovers" at Wellfleet
Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - celebrate the arrival of Spring and Piping Plovers!
The MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble combo performs in the exhibit space starting
at 6:00 pm, while you'll enjoy a wine and cheese reception, followed by the
entire 18-piece big band in concert - the group will perform a wide variety
of music from Ellington to Mingus to new cutting edge composers. The MIT
Festival Jazz Ensemble collaborates with many world class musicians - recent
guest artists have included Joe Lovano, Don Byron, and Kenny Werner. All
proceeds go to support the Coastal Waterbird Program and Wellfleet Bay
