Let's celebrate SEEAL's 10 years and organize for the upcoming year! 

 

We will be meeting at the UMass Dartmouth CUSP in Fairhaven, from 
12:30pm to 4:45pm.  Lunch will be provided.  There will be a panel 
presentation, "State and Federal Grant Opportunities for Southeastern 
Massachusetts Collaborative Environmental Education and Stewardship 
Initiatives," followed by grant-writing workshops. The panel is made up 
of: Jane Peirce, from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP); 
Marybeth Campbell, from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative; Lucy 
Edmondson, from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); and Bradie 
Metheny, Liaison for the National Institute of Health (NIH), also 
involved in K-12 Science & Math Education Outreach.  Then, we have the 
Education and Research Vessel, Enviro-Lab, reserved from 5-7:00 pm to 
celebrate our collaboration and hard work.  We will enjoy dinner, drinks 
and live music.

 

There is a $10 registration to help cover costs.  Please RSVP no later 
than September 25th with the names of those attending from your

Directions to CUSP:
. From Route 195 take Exit 18 (Route 240)
. Get into the left hand lane as you proceed down Route 240
. At the first set of lights take a left onto Bridge Street
. At first set of lights (the intersection of Bridge Street and Mill 
Road) take a left onto Mill Road
. Once you are on Mill Road, take your first left into the main entrance
. Follow driveway into the parking lot and park in lot near the gazebo
. Enter through the main door (behind the gazebo)
. Take the elevator (on the right side of the lobby) up to the second floor
. When you get off the elevator take a left and go through the glass doors
. Follow signs to the Center for University, School and Community
