They're back at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster! The very
popular

Mission: Wolf from Colorado will present two programs on Sunday, October
21-- at 1:00 and 3:30 pm.  Museum members: $8/ adults and $4/children under
12 years. Non-members: $10/adults and $5/children under 12 years. The
minimum age for children is five years.  Reservations for each presentation
are required and must be confirmed with the museum office staff at
508-896-3867, Ext. 133.

 

Ambassador Wolf Magpie, a five year old timber wolf, will highlight this
spectacular program with Kent Weber, founder and director of the
Mission:Wolf Sanctuary in Silver Cliff, Colorado.  

 

Along with close and personal views of Magpie, resplendent with her silvery
grey coat, large stature and penetrating yellow eyes, the audience will
learn about the status of wild wolves in North America, wolf communication
and behavior in comparison to dogs, issues concerning wolf captives and
hybrids, and challenges for the wolf populations in Yellowstone National
Park and other locations.

 

As Kent Weber notes, "The impact that a face-to-face experience with a wolf
has on people cannot be compared to all the videos, books and photos
combined."

 

Join us for this rare opportunity here at the museum to meet the
unforgettable timber wolf, Magpie, and to hear about the work of the
Mission:Wolf Sanctuary.
