Today is the last day to register for the first Conference on Coastal
Environmental Sensing Networks being held at the University of
Massachusetts Boston on April 12-13.
This conference will provide a forum in which to explore the growing
possibilities and needs within the field of real-time monitoring in
coastal environments.
We have a great schedule lined up, including a keynote address by Dr.
Deborah Estrin, Director of the Center for Embedded Network Sensing at
UCLA, and a leader in the field of sensing networks.
Margaret Davidson of NOAA's Coastal Services Center is also speaking,
and will lead a panel discussion on the technology needs of researchers
and coastal managers.

Students:
While the deadline for abstracts has passed, we are still accepting
student poster submissions and have a few student scholarships
available, courtesy of Crossbow Technology. If you are interested in
