Fly Away Where? Lecture on Birds and Climate Change

 

Nantucket Soundkeeper and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society present
the second in a five-part lecture series, A Sea of Change:  Survival of
Marine Wildlife in Today's Oceans - Impacts, Implications and Improvements,
on the effects of climate change on the ocean and local marine wildlife.
The free public presentations are being held on Wednesdays between July 18
and August 15 at 7:00p.m. at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street.  

 

On July 25th, Wayne Petersen, Director of the Massachusetts Important Bird
Areas (IBA) Program at the Massachusetts Audubon Society will speak about
the importance of birds as environmental indicators of climate change.
