Citizen Science at Waquoit Bat National Estuarine Research Reserve



A series of programs designed to introduce you to the management issues,
environmental factors and wildlife species that are the focus of
monitoring and research at the Reserve.

 

July 24: (9:00am) Bay Water Monitoring by Boat (Reservations Required)

(Meet at Reserve Headquarters, Rt 28) Join Assistant Research
Coordinator Mary Kay Fox to get an inside look at how the Reserve
monitors water quality around Waquoit Bay.

 

July 31: (8:00 am) Avian Surveys Across the Reserve

(Meet at South Cape Beach, Bayberry Lot)

 

August 14: (9:00am) Saltmarsh Restoration

(Meet at South Cape Beach, Bayberry Lot) 

 

August 21: (9:00am) Stewardship of Public Lands

(Meet at Jehu Pond Trail, off Great Neck Road S.)
