The Friends of the CCMNH are proud to present Dr. William H. Walton, who
will discuss shellfish farming and the management of the industry. Bill
Walton is the fisheries and aquaculture extension agent for Barnstable
County's Cape Cod Cooperative Extension and Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution Sea Grant. In this position, Bill provides assistance to local
shellfishermen, natural resource managers and concerned citizens with
management of the coast's living marine resources, particularly our local
shellfish. He attempts to help improve fisheries management, restore marine
resources and assist the shellfish farming community.
