Mass Audubon offers Cruises this fall to See Sea Ducks, Birds, and Seals

SANDY NECK SEA DUCK CRUISE
Sunday, October 2, 9 A.M.–1 P.M.
Saturday, October 15, 9 A.M.–1 P.M.

Join Bob Prescott, Wellfleet Bay Sanctuary Director, on a cruise out of
Sesuit Harbor in Dennis aboard the Albatross. We will travel along the
shoreline of Dennis and Yarmouth into Barnstable Harbor, along Sandy Neck,
and into Cape Cod Bay. Migrating sea ducks such as eiders, scoters, and
long-tailed ducks seek refuge behind the protective barrier of Sandy Neck
along with returning mergansers and loons. Dress warmly and bring
binoculars. Registration is required. Cost $38 for Mass Audubon members and
$43 for non-members.

CAPE COD BAY SEAL & SEABIRD CRUISE
Saturday, November 12, 11 A.M –1 P.M.
Saturday, November 19, 2–4 P.M.
Saturday, November 26, 11 A.M –1 P.M.
Saturday, December 3, 2–4 P.M.

Enjoy a cruise out of Wellfleet Harbor to Billingsgate Shoal with Wellfleet
Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. View both gray and harbor seals and migrating sea
ducks (eiders, scoters, long-tailed ducks) as well as loons, gannets, and
kittiwakes.  Audubon naturalists will be on board to identify birds and
points of interest.  Dress warmly and bring binoculars. Registration is
required. Cost is $20 for Mass Audubon members and $25 for non-members.
Children 12 and under receive a $5 discount.

These cruises are offered the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
