Hello.  My name is Sherri Heft.  I am an AmeriCorps Cape Cod member.  AmeriCorps Cape Cod is a residential full-time service program committed to addressing the critical environmental and disaster response needs of Cape Cod’s community and fragile natural resources.   

 

AmeriCorps Cape Cod is announcing its sixth annual Earth Celebration to be held rain-or-shine on Saturday, May 21, from 10a-2p at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds.  The environmental fair is a free family event with children’s activities and games.  Earth Celebration is also an opportunity for local environmental organizations to showcase their work through exhibits and lectures.  Highlights include a Renewable Energy Trailer and a Honda hybrid car to test drive! Fair-goers will enjoy free food all day, live music, and raffle prizes every hour.  Earth Celebration is held in conjunction with the Master Gardeners Plant Sale.
