Restore America's Estuaries is excited to announce the
3rd National Conference and Expo on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat 
Restoration - 
"Forging the National Imperative for Restoration" - 
 
to be held December 9-13, 2006 in New Orleans, Louisiana, 
on the banks of the Mississippi River at the Hilton Riverside Hotel. 
 
The Conference will emphasize our successes and 
the challenges ahead in strengthening the 
national commitment to restoration.

We will showcase habitat restoration AT ALL SCALES, 
and from all coastal and estuarine regions and habitat types,
including the latest advances in ecosystem, 
as well as community-based restoration.
 
Join 1,500 participants from all sectors of the restoration movement:
community organizations; businesses and consultants; 
local, state and federal agencies; scientists and researchers; 
educators; tribes; and students and volunteers.
 
The Conference will:
· Provide networking opportunities with your peers and colleagues from 
throughout the U.S. and abroad.
· Offer presentations on the best practices in the science, planning, 
practice and policies of restoration, from leaders in restoration 
throughout the Coastal U.S. 
· Stretch your thinking, and your legs, during numerous educational 
and fun field sessions.
· Enliven your spirit through Louisiana music, food, arts and fun!
· Introduce you to new people, ideas, products and opportunities.
· Restore a piece of Coastal Louisiana through a hands-on volunteer 
restoration project on the first day of the Conference.

show in our exhibit hall, and a comprehensive offering of 
presentations, the Conference will motivate, inspire and unite the
