The New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance (NECWA) is sponsoring an all 
day offshore adventure called “Seabird and Whale Tales 2005.” Join us 
as we depart from the Town Wharf in Plymouth, MA on Saturday, June 11th 
at 8 AM returning by 6 PM.  Head for offshore waters aboard the Tales 
of the Sea, a 110’ luxury whale-watching vessel owned and operated by 
the Captain John Boats.  Join Wayne Peterson and David Clapp from Mass 
Audubon who will provide commentary on seabirds that are sighted 
offshore.  Marine biologists from NECWA and Bridgewater State College 
will be onboard to talk about the whales and pelagic fish that will 
also be sighted. Tickets for this fundraising event are $75 and the # 
of passengers is limited to ensure plenty of viewing space. Go to

The New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance (NECWA) at the address

This exciting offshore trip will help support the New England Basking 
Shark Project (NEBShark), a community research project with NECWA that 
enlists the support of the New England community to learn more about 
basking sharks sighted offshore. NECWA is a non-profit organization 
working to better understand and conserve New England’s unique coastal 
wildlife.  NECWA collaborates with Bridgewater State College, the 
Division of Marine Fisheries and the Captain John Boats.
