Hello,
Back in October I put out a request for information on
e-Newsletters --including what organziation uses them and content and
format. I received a huge response from many of you -- Thank You! It helped
me tremendously.
I have compiled a breif listing of those responses with links to websites
and newsletters. If you would like to receive this please contact me
privately at mlowe at massaudubon.org and I'll share it with you. It is a one
page Word document.
I also have created an e-Newsletter for Wellfleet Bay's Adult Education
Department. The goal of this newsletter is is to promote communication with
our members and the many people who take our adult workshops and field
trips. Each issue of this quarterly newsletter will include news on relevant
current events, brief updates on sanctuary research, recent wildlife
sightings, and information about upcoming adult programs. I have titled the
publication "The Wrack Line."
Because we are currently unable to imbed HTML text into our e-mails, and
because we don't have the opportunity, yet, to have the newsletter appear on
our website...I had to structure it in a very simple manner. It appear as
text within the body of an e-mail. While it may not be the most attractive
way to do this...it is a start and will hopefully serve people well.
If you would like to subscribe to this please send an e-mail to
mlowe at massaudubon.org with subject line "subscribe Wrack Line". Or, I'd be
happy to send you a sample of it just so you can see what it is like.
Thanks and Happy New Year,
Melissa Lowe
