Roving Conservation Coordinator, Conservation, Town of Barnstable: 
Inspection, administrative, regulatory, and technical work in enforcing 
the provisions of conservation and wetlands protection laws and 
regulations, coordinating local conservation efforts, implementing and 
enforcing the provisions of conservation and wetlands protection laws 
and regulations, and in providing technical assistance to the 
Conservation Commission.  This position is 100% funded by a grant.  
Elimination of this grant will result in elimination of this position 
and separation of the employee from this position. BS degree in land use 
management, environmental science or related field; three years of 
experience in conservation activities, environmental planning or a 
related field; or any equivalent combination of education and 
experience.  Class D drivers license required.  Must possess own 
vehicle.  Thorough knowledge of Massachusetts conservation laws and 
Wetlands Protection Act.  Ability to make inspections and to identify 
plant and soil types.  Ability to read, understand, and interpret 
technical specifications, blue prints, and plot plans.  Ability to work 
independently without day to day supervision.  Strong communication 
skills.  Proficiency in the use of computers including word processing, 
G.I.S.,  and database.  . $927.85  weekly + benefits 40 hrs. per week.
