Welcome Spring with The 300 Committee!
Tree Identification Workshops
March 24 3:00-5:30 p.m.
OR
March 27 10:00-Noon
Fewer than 30 kinds of trees are common on Cape Cod, but they may seem
indescipherable when they are leafless. This workshop will help you sort
them out. We'll look at trees outdoors, then "hit the books" indoors. By
the end, you'll be able to recognize the forest and the trees. Led by
300 Committee members Beth Schwarzman, author of The Nature of Cape Cod,
and Richard Sperduto, Beebe Woods volunteer steward. Workshops
co-sponsored by Falmouth Academy. Registration is required as space is
limited.
For more information about any of our Spring 2004 events, or to register
for the Tree Identification workshops, please call The 300 Committee at
(508) 540-0876, or e-mail us at saveland at 300committee.org.
The 300 Committee is a private, non-profit land trust dedicated to
protecting and preserving open space for the citizens of Falmouth
Massachusetts
