Teacher Workshop on Wind, Waves, and Weather

Would you like a breath of fresh air in your classroom? Teachers are 
invited to attend a free workshop on coastal weather to be held 
Thursday, March 18, 2004, from 3:30-5:30 PM  at Waquoit Bay Research 
Reserve.  Coastal weather is especially engaging, involving observations 
of land, sea, and atmosphere.  We will review weather forces, go out and 
make observations, try out activities, construct weather instruments, 
and design investigations for students.  All activities are aligned with 
Massachusetts frameworks.  Best for teachers of grades 5-10. PDPs are 
available for this workshop. Presented in partnership with Cape Cod 
National Seashore.
