July 3, 9 am.   NABA Butterfly Count in Brewster.   All welcome.  $3.

July 6, 2 pm.  At Crane Wildlife Management Area, Rte. 151, Falmouth.
One of the best sites on the Cape, a large grassland and woodland edge
site, host to many species all through the season.   We will look at the
butterflies and the plants that the butterflies need.  Nature’s Circle,

July 10, 9:30 am.  At Tor Hansen’s house to see his collections,
butterfly garden, seaside plantings.  Then on to Hatches Harbor and
Evans Field, for Silver-bordered Fritillary and anglewings, and Horton’s
Camping Resort to see Striped and Coral Hairstreaks, Dun Skipper,
American Copper on Milkweed, Prickly Pear Cactus, Privet.  Call the Cape
Cod Museum of Natural History to register.  508-896-3867.

Directions:  From Rte. 6 turn right at the Highland Light exit.  Turn
left at the bottom of the ramp onto Highland Rd.  Go through the
blinking light at 6A, continue west to the top of the bluff  and park in
the parking lot.  Walk up the driveway on the right to the second house,
“Hansen”.

July 13, 2 pm.  Coastal Systems.  Meet at the Trunk River parking area
off Oyster Pond Road, Falmouth.  Not much of a hike.   Nature’s Circle,
