WHAT: Aquaculture is recognized as a very effective teaching tool to stimulate student interest in the sciences and other educational disciplines. The concept will be discussed and a number of educational activities using shellfish aquaculture will be presented that can be used in a wide variety of teaching situations to teach both with aquaculture and about aquaculture.
