CALL FOR PRE-PROPOSALS
WHOI Sea Grant is accepting pre-proposals for its 2004-2006 funding
cycle. In keeping with the strategic plans of the National Sea Grant
College Program and the WHOI Sea Grant Program, the theme areas for
2004-2006 are: Fisheries and Aquaculture, Environmental Technologies
(e.g. marine biotechnology, remediation technologies, and remote
technologies), and Estuarine and Coastal Processes (e.g. coastal
erosion, sustainable landforms, water quality, and sediment quality).
However, pre-proposals representing other areas will be considered. For
marine policy proposals, preference will be given to projects that fit
into one of the above-mentioned theme areas. We also encourage the
submission of regional proposals that involve investigators from several
institutions and states and coordinated support from multiple Sea Grant
programs.
Interested individuals are strongly encouraged to attend WHOI Sea
Grant's Open Meeting on February 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clark Bldg. (5th
Floor) of WHOI's Quissett Campus.
To receive a copy of the Request for Pre-Proposals, which includes
deadline (March 14) and content requirements, contact WHOI Sea Grant at
(508) 289-2398 or seagrant@whoi.edu or visit our web site at
