Visit 8 estuaries without leaving home-

We would like your help in promoting the October 3 & 4 Estuary Live, a
series of live interactive field trips from 8 estuaries around the
country highlighting National Estuaries Day October 5. A cooperative
venture between NOAA and EPA this fall, Estuary Live is targeted at K-12
and university education students though it is open to anyone. Our goal
is over 20,000 participants (last year's estimate) from all 50 states.
This year we will have live sessions from WA, OR, LA, FL, SC, NC, MD, NJ
and the Commerce Bldg in DC.The program allows students to ask questions
via the Internet and have our educators answer live from the field. It is
available free of cost and an open captioned link is available.

The official web site for National Estuaries Day is www.estuaries.gov
<http://www.estuaries.gov/> . For information about EstuaryLive you can
dial straight to www.estuarylive.org <http://www.estuarylive.org/> If
you have any questions you can contact me
<mailto:susan_lovelace@ncnerr.org> at the locations below. The NOAA
Estuarine Reserves Division contact is Theresa Eisenman
<mailto:theresa.eisenman@noaa.gov> .We have currently have teachers from
about 20 states and several other countries registered. With your help
