Dear Friend,
We'd like to tell you about a pilot program we're
launching called "Teens Afloat!" This program will
provide a limited number of non-profit organizations
that offer on-the-water education for teens with a
chance to buy adult-sized life jackets for only $5
each (regularly $15.99 retail). This incredible deal
is
made possible through generous support from the
Brunswick Public Foundation.
In order to make sure these inexpensive life jackets
are used by the maximum number of teenagers,
we're offering them only to organizations that offer
regularly-scheduled on-the-water programs for
teens. These organizations will be able to purchase
between 10 and 50 jackets, and will be required to
report to the BoatU.S. Foundation on their group's
activities with the jackets. We're sorry, no
government agencies are eligible for this program,
but perhaps if you work for a government agency,
you can forward this e-mail on to boating groups you
work with!
If your organization or an organization you know of
might be interested in purchasing life jackets for
teens, visit
http://www.boatus.com/foundation/teensafloat.htm to
learn more or download an
application. The deadline for this program is July
15, 2002.If you have specific questions about this
program,
please contact Joni Turken, at 410-897-0514 or
jonit@boatus.com.
We look forward to working with you!
