Summer Institute for Teachers

This year the MITS workshops on Cape Cod will be split into sections for k-3 and 4-8. These workshops which go Monday - Friday, July 8-19 cost $75 and include books and instructional materials to take home in addition to the training - ofcourse all tied to the Massachusetts Frameworks. 

The grade 4-8 track will spend the first week at Waquoit Bay Reserve in East Falmouth, on Renewable Energy (including building take home working models of a solar cooker, solar electric car, and windmill as well as visits by the Renewable Energy Trailer (aka The Eco-Explorer, featured in local newspapers).
