**WARNING**
***AQUATIC PLANTS HAVE INVADED CAPE COD PONDS!***
There are more than 400 beautiful freshwater ponds on Cape Cod. This
summer, our ponds face a serious risk from the exotic aquatic plants
Fanwort and
Hydrilla. These weeds destroy natural habitat and pond recreation by
out-competing native species and clogging the waterways. Last year,
Hydrilla made its
first appearance in Massachusetts here on Cape Cod. The bad news is
invasive weeds can quickly spread to other ponds.
The good news is you can help. Come to this workshop and learn how.
Funding was made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of
Cape Cod.
Attendance is free but registration is required.
Register by phone (508-362-4226), fax (508-362-4227), or e-mail
