Workshop announcement…
Stabilizing Dunes and Coastal Banks using Vegetation and Bioengineering
Thursday, February 28, 2002, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
WHOI, Quissett Campus, Woods Hole, MA
Registration Deadline: February 22, 2002 (see the end of this e-mail for
complete details)
Sponsored by Cape Cod Cooperative Extension and WHOI Sea Grant

Combining the use of bioengineering and vegetation for coastal erosion
control can offer a low cost, low maintenance, long-term stability
alternative to structural erosion control measures. In addition,
bioengineering and vegetation enhance wildlife habitat and aesthetics.
Come join other professionals in the field and exchange your personal
experiences and observations with non-structural coastal erosion control
measures through an interactive workshop.
