Hingham, MA - Mark your calendars for the 5th Ocean Technology Job
Fair. It will be held on Friday February 22, 2002 at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA from 11-4PM.
For companies and organizations looking for great employees in the
fields of engineering, ocean engineering, computer aided design,
oceanscience and more, this is the place to come. Over 100 individuals
from all over New England attended last time and we expect even more
this time.
For individuals seeking first time employment or mid-career changes,
this is also the place to come to meet prospective employers from
avariety of marine
related fields.
In addition to visiting the participating companies exhibits and brief
presentations, attendees will be able to attend the New England SNAME
(Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers) Annual Student
PaperCompetition. The day will be topped off at 4PM with key note
speaker, Captain Craig McLean, Director of NOAA's Office of Ocean
Exploration.
Companies who have committed to attending in 2002 include:Naval Surface
Warfare Center – Carderock Div, Naval Undersea Warfare Center –
Newport, RI, Naval Oceanographic Office – Stennis Space Ctr, and
ScientificSolutions- Nashua, NH.
