[SEMCO] Summer Programs for Kids

WANTED:  SUMMER PROGRAM INFORMATION!

If your office is anything like ours, requests for information about
summer programs or opportunities for children of all ages are starting
to flood into your office.  Over the years we have offered a flyer and,
more recently, a web site of resources for local (Cape and Islands)
programs.  If your group offers a science or nature-based program,
please visit
http://www.whoi.edu/seagrant/education/resources/summer.html to see if
it is listed.  If yes, please review and send updated details to our
office (sderosa@whoi.edu). If your program isn’t listed and you’d like
it to be, the information we’re interested is this:

- Name of program and/or sponsoring organization
- Location where program is based
- Brief description of the program(s)
- Age/grade level per program offered
- Dates/Times
- Fees
- Enrollment, application, sign-up process
- Contact person for more information (name, phone number, address,
e-mail, fax)

Remember, this is specifically for programs that are science or
nature-based. We won’t be promoting sailing camps, girl/boy scout camps,
etc.

Also, feel free to bookmark the web site and use it as a resource for
any inquiries you receive. If you’d like to have a master copy of the
printed list, just let us know.
