I would like to spread the word about a great developmental opportunity,
at Cape Cod National Seashore, for those in the field of visitor
services and in interpretation.

A vacancy currently exists for the Salt Pond Visitor Center Lead
Interpreter, the person responsible for all aspects of visitor
information
services, and facility upkeep and presentation. They will oversee (not
supervise)  the work of 15 volunteers and 8 employees, while they are
engaged in visitor center duties.This person is also responsible for the

fee collection program that takes place in the Division of
Interpretation,
South District, which has an annual income of $100,000. This position
will
run from early May through September and is GS -07 ($15.28/ hr). To
