[SEMCO] "U.S. Strategy for Ocean Exploration" report

Greetings!

WHOI Sea Grant has a limited number of copies of the final report of the
President's Panel on Ocean Exploration "Discovering Earth's Last
Frontier: A U.S. Strategy for Ocean Exploration." This report was
formally presented to former President Clinton by former Department of
Commerce Secretary (now Secretary of Transportation) Norman Mineta on
December 4, 2000.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is moving
ahead to implement many of the Panel's recommendations within the limits
of the current budget and will be working with other federal agencies
and partners to advance the concepts articulated in the report.
