CAPE COD CENTER FOR SUSTAINABILITY
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Coordinate all activities of the Center, whose mission is to develop a
sustainable Cape Cod.
Manage programs and administrative functions.  Oversee a staff of 1-2
persons, volunteers and interns.  Work with Board of Directors, standing
and ad hoc committees of the Board. Participate in tasks pertaining to
fundraising and proposal writing.  Maintain good working relationship
and correspondence with funders, donors and membership.

Primary responsibility: working with Sustainability Indicators Project:
establishing and implementing work plan, including strong community
connections that foster the adoption of the Indicators as a means of
decision/policy making.

Represent the Center at various meetings within the community, act as
liaison with other non profit organizations and with business sector.

Education/experience required: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in
management, planning or related field and 2-5 years related experience.
Excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
Some evening and or weekend work may be part of schedule.  Non profit
experience a plus.

The position will start at 30 hours/week, at an annual (full time)
salary of $40,000, and will progress to full time.
