[SEMCO] Beach and Boating Publications Available

Greetings!

Just in time for the summer season, Sea Grant has a limited supply of
the following publications available at no charge:

"Rip Currents: Don't Panic"
Both brochures and posters are available that describe what a rip
current is, how to identify one, and what to do if you find yourself
caught in one.

"Get a Grip on Ocean Motion"
A brochure for the prevention and treating of seasickness.

"Lightning and Boats"
This booklet describes a protection system that directs lightning
strikes safely through boats with less chance of damage or injury.

"These Dunes Aren't Made for Walking"
Suitable for outdoor displays, these 11" x 14" coated posters describe
the importance of dunes as a first line of defense against ocean waves
and encourage beachgoers not to trample the dunes.
