Hello SEMCO subscribers. The following e-mail may be
of interest to you. It was sent by Tom Stone of the
Woods Hole Research Center. If you received it
directly, my apologies for getting it again. It's a
great piece of work, so it seemed worth the risk!

Dear Cape Cod Friends,

The Woods Hole Research Center has just published a
colored, two sided,
folded poster that illustrates the changes in the
land cover of Cape Cod
over the past 40 years for the entire Cape and
town-by-town. This work
strikingly illustrates the loss of natural habitats
Cape Cod due largely
to residential and commercial expansion.

Additional material about Cape Cod and its
environment can be found on
our Web site in our Electronic Atlas of the Cape Cod
Environment at
http://WWW.WHRC.ORG/ccatlas/ccatlas.htm

We are distributing this map free to all interested
parties. If you or
your organization would like one or several copies
please contact me.

Thank You,

Tom Stone
