Hello Mark
Have you got a Matlab toolbox for conversions of vertical datum? If so, may I shear it?

Mark,
I don't know of any general Matlab tool to do this, but you should be able to obtain the VDATUM conversion grids in NetCDF format from the
VDATUM folks (Ed Myers and Zizang Yang at NOOA). These are triangle
based grids, generally from ADCIRC, that can then be interpolated in Matlab using triterp.m or other methods. We used this Matlab-based approach in the Gulf of Maine to convert all MLLW and MLW soundings to
MSL. I'm cc'ing Ed and Zizang on this, as they might have a
different solution (or correct me if I'm wrong!)
