Dear Sea-Mat,
I have written a toolbox, DIWASP, which calculates directional wave spectra
from field data. This is freely available to any ocean science people out
there who might find it useful.
The toolbox homepage is
http://www.cwr.uwa.edu.au/~johnson/diwasp/diwasp.html
and downloads of .zip and tar.gz files are available from there
There is a manual which (I hope) explains how it works fairly clearly and
some sample data with a short tutorial.
Any feedback appreciated as long-term goal is to keep improving package as a
resource for the oceanographic community
Regards
David Johnson
