Postdoctoral Positions Available in OBS Seismology and Seismic Full waveform Tomography at Southern University of Science and Technology, China

One or two two-year postdoctoral scholar position in seismology is available at the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). We seek colleagues with strong motivation in seismic data analysis and full-waveform imaging to study oceanic crust and mantle structures. Candidates with experience of high-performance computing or processing Ocean-Bottom-Seismographs (OBS) are highly encouraged. A PhD in geophysics or related fields is required.
 
A globally competitive remuneration with benefit will be offered commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.

The Department of Earth and Space Sciences was established in December 2016. Xiaofei Chen, a renowned seismologist and an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, is appointed as an initiatory departmental head.
