[OBSIPtec] Alkaline D-cells

Dear collegues,

It happens that the factory who produces our preferred Alkaline D-cells 
will close in near future and move to China. I am not sure if the new 
factory will produce cells in same quality and reliability, so my 
question is:

- Are there any recommandations in the community for a special brand of 
Alkaline D-cells?
- has anyone tested several brands at low temperature, low drain and 
long duration?
