We seek an individual with a strong commitment to undergraduate and
graduate education who is interested in contributing to the broad
curriculum of the department. The successful candidate will teach three EES
courses per semester. Courses include: 1) Introduction to Environmental
Science (EES-002), an introductory course that is also a foundational
course for the Environmental Studies Program, 2) Two additional
introductory EES courses to be determined in consultation with the chair,
and 3) a graduate or upper-level undergraduate course in the candidate’s
area of expertise.

Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in earth science, geology, environmental science, ecology, or a
closely related field by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from
different backgrounds.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
