The Department of Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (OEAS) at Old 
Dominion University seeks candidates with research interests in coastal 
geology, hydrogeology, or coastal geomorphology for a tenure-track 
Assistant Professor position starting in Fall 2020. Research interests 
can include wetland hydrogeology, coastal sedimentology and 
geomorphology, and landscape evolution.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an 
independent and externally funded research program, contribute to 
teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, mentor undergraduate 
and graduate students, and contribute to interdisciplinary research 
activities. Exceptional candidates may be considered for appointment at 
the Associate Professor level.
