Hello,

The Alaska Sea Grant State Fellowship program is now accepting applications for our 2020 Alaska Sea Grant State Fellowship.  We are entering our 6th year of the Fellowship program and each year the program has grown and has been extremely successful.  The Fellowship has two goals - 1) to increase the capacity of state, federal and co-management agencies working in fisheries and marine policy and science by contributing an energetic, post graduate school professional to their staff for 12 months and 2) to enable new young professionals to launch their career in Alaska.

Our state fellowship program matches highly qualified graduate students (recently completed or close to completion) with host state or federal agencies for a 12 month paid fellowship.  I am attaching a flyer about the fellowship and hope that you can share the information with graduate students in your program.  Last year we placed 3 fellows with two NOAA agencies in Alaska, and the National Park Service.  Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the fellowship program.
