>> Summary:  A team of scientists at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI), University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST), and NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NOAA NEFSC) are seeking applicants for three postdoctoral positions to apply management strategy evaluation (MSE) to groundfish species in the Northeast U.S. The research will focus on testing the performance of management procedures under climate change. The postdocs will work with a team of experts in the study of climate impacts on fish and fisheries and the application of MSE, including Dr. Lisa Kerr and Dr. Andrew Pershing (GMRI), Dr. Gavin Fay and Dr. Steve Cadrin (UMass Dartmouth), and Dr. Sarah Gaichas (NOAA NEFSC). Two positions will be based at GMRI (Portland, ME) and one based at UMass Dartmouth (New Bedford, MA).  While all three positions will have a quantitative focus, there is some flexibility for defining project roles based on the experiences and interests of the successful candidates.
