16. Destination Marketing and Outdoor Recreation Intern

    created Office of Sustainability seeks well qualified applicants for
    the position of Climate Resiliency Specialist. We want aClimate
    Resiliency Specialist to empower our employees and our community
    members to embrace sustainability more fully and use resources more
    efficiently. The Climate Resiliency Specialist (CRS) is the lead
    staff person responsible for the coordination and implementation of
    the county's resilience strategy, with a focus on sea level rise
    vulnerability and adaptation. The CRS will enhance
    multi-departmental coordination and integrate resilience initiatives
    throughout the county and the cities of San Mateo County.  The CRS
    will convene a multi-departmental and multi-city leadership team and
    serve as the primary point of contact for the county-wide resiliency
    efforts, including the development of a sea level rise vulnerability
    assessment and adaptation framework. This effort, partially funded
    through a California State Coastal Conservancy Climate Ready grant,
    will be a collaborative effort between all the cities and the county
    to identify the vulnerable assets within the region and the risks
    present.
