The Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Department invites 
applications for *tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor* 
positions. USNA is a military service academy and top tier undergraduate 
institution with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in faculty 
teaching and research.  The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering 
Program emphasizes project-based learning in an intensive, 
ABET-accredited curriculum. Class sizes are small and the research 
facilities, which include two towing tanks, a circulating water channel, 
coastal basin, structures laboratory, and propulsion laboratory, are 
generously equipped.

Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, 
student mentoring, producing high-quality peer-reviewed research, and 
service to the institution.  Teaching load is typically two different 
courses per semester with small section sizes of 10-25 students. We seek 
candidates who can contribute broadly in teaching and research any area 
of the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program.
