* Description: The Gulf Research Program of the National Academies of
Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is currently accepting
applications for a Program Officer in Information Science. The
Program Officer in Information Science will advise the Executive
Director and Senior Staff on the development and implementation of
the Program's policies on data management (including data curation
and stewardship) and activities on data mining or harvesting and
manipulation. The position is inherently interdisciplinary and
cross-sectoral. The incumbent also will assist in review of
applications for the Program's grants and fellowships. Eligible
candidates should have with a master's degree (or higher) in
information sciences, health informatics, geographic information
sciences, ocean sciences, ecology or any program-related discipline
