1. Social Scientist Analyst

* Description: JHT, a federal contractor, is seeking a Social
Scientist specializing in human geography, environmental/natural
resource sociology, social environmental science or a related
discipline/field for a one-year, full-time contract position with
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA)
Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) in Charleston, SC for a variety of
social science research. Topics include: vulnerability of
communities to climate change, mapping human uses and values for
coastal and marine environments, and modeling community well-being,
ecosystem services, and coastal ecosystem conditions. Requires two
years related experience in environmental research and a Master's
degree in geography, sociology, anthropology, geography, economics,
or similar discipline or some combination of education and
progressively responsible, relevant work experience equivalent to a
Master's degree; Ph.D. preferred.

2. Marine Science Instructor

hands-on ocean science programs for the Oceans After School, At Your
School, and Visitor Center Field Trip education programs as well

This is a part time position through the Farallones Marine Sanctuary
Association and work is primarily in classrooms at school sites and
in the Greater Farallones Visitor Center. This position requires a
flexible schedule and commitment to work six to eight-hour days
Tuesday-Thursday. The option to work 29 hours rather than 22 hours
may be available and would then include working Sundays each week to
assist with Visitor Center staffing and delivery of public programs.

3. New York Seascape Program Officer

* Description: The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) seeks a Program
Officer to play a vital role within a five person team that makes up
the Wildlife Conservation Society's New York Seascape Program. The
primary objective of the position is to coordinate and oversee the
administrative, grants management, and financial needs of New York
Seascape Program. In addition, this position will work closely with
the Marine Program Budget Officer and provide some assistance in the
financial management of other global marine programs. The position

4. Aquaculture Analyst

* Description: Reporting to the Chief Scientist and working closely
with FishSource, Aquaculture, and Strategy teams, the Aquaculture
Analyst will conduct analyses of aquaculture management systems
around the world, including disease risk reduction strategies and
environmental impact control measures, and present results to ensure
the analysis is accessible to the seafood industry, including major
buyers, to enable them to support improvements where needed. The
