Assistant Professor, Coastal Oceanography

The University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in biological or chemical coastal oceanography. Preference will be given to applicants who focus on interdisciplinary processes and/or use innovative analytical, field, modeling, or theoretical approaches. The anticipated start date is September 2015. The successful applicant is expected to develop a strong externally funded research program, advise graduate students, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Application Deadline: Search will remain open until filled. First consideration will be given to applications received by April 15, 2015. Second consideration may be given to applications received by May 15, 2015. Applications received subsequent to the second consideration date (May 15th) may not be given full consideration. Only online applications will be accepted.
